BRONKO HONORS
Bronko Nagurski Stamp
The United States Postal Service issued a stamp on August 8, 2003, honoring Bronko Nagurski. It is part of a series titled "EARLY FOOTBALL HEROES" which includes, Bronko (Chicago Bears), Red Grange (Chicago Bears), Ernie Nevers (Duluth Eskimos & Chicago Cardinals), and Walter Camp (founder of American football). The official release was at the College Football Hall of Fame at South Bend, Indiana and a Special Issue was held at the Bronko Nagurski Museum in International Falls, Minnesota. Stamps may be purchased through the USPS for the next 6-12 months.

Hearts in Atlantis
In 2002 a movie titled "Hearts in Atlantis" starring Anthony Hopkins was released. In this movie, Hopkins' character tells a lengthy story to a young boy about how Bronko came out of retirement to play for the Chicago Bears and, at a critical point in the game, used pure determination to carry the ball down the field and score a touchdown which won the game and the championship. The moral of the story later helped the young boy fight through adversity and save a friend.

Bronko Nagurski Scholarships
These scholarships are awarded each year to two graduating seniors from Falls High School in International Falls, Minnesota. The 2003 recipients were: Jake Veeder, who will attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Brittany Corrin, who will attend University of Minnesota-Duluth.
Bronko Nagurski Trophy
This trophy is awarded to the College Defensive Player of the Year.
All-Millenium Team
Fifty two years after playing his last game, Bronko Nagurski was recognized as one of the greatest football players of all-time. On Super Bowl Sunday, January 31, 1999 "The All-Madden All-Millennium Show" aired on FOX Sports. This show highlighted the lives and careers of John Madden's all-time greatest football team. Bronko Nagurski was been selected as a member of this team.
